The stage was ready on Sunday evening for Expert Gaming to battle against Dish in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive final at ByLAN in Bergen. There was around 50 teams that entered the tournament and Expert managed to secure a place in the final defeating teams such as Lions and Majority Gaming.
Expert Gaming was pushed down into the lower bracket earlier in the day after losing against Dish in the upper bracket finals resulting in the lower bracket final against Lions. Lions were a big favorite at the event to win which pushed the guys harder to get a spot in the finals to which they accomplished with a 2-0 victory against Lions in the lower bracket final to secure a place in the finals for revenge against Dish.
Team Captain Philip was very happy with the performance of everyone on the team and was proud of a top three finish but the main goal was to win the event overall. Sadly, Expert Gaming lost in the finals of the tournament with three very close games which went in Dish’s favor with a 2-1 victory.
Expert Gaming are currently practicing hard and staying motivated so they can show their potential at bigger LANs and climb the online ladders on ESEA and CEVO leagues. The staff were very polite and professional at ByLAN and we would like to thank everyone behind the scenes for making the LAN possible.
